When I work with acrylics, I tend to mix a lot of paint... usually too much of each color used in each piece. As paints can be a tad pricey, I hate to waste any of it, and so I use sundry canvas boards on hand to play around with, creating extra paintings. Sometimes, these will be acrylic paintings in their own right. Other times, I will use them as a base for mixed media pieces, such as torn paper collages, montages, and whatever strikes my fancy. These pieces will be available for sale at very reasonable prices.
